Well done Simon and Scotty on a remarkable win. To get a limit of 16 fish by 3.00pm in difficult conditions,when the whole field struggled and the second place pairing only had 7 fish showed how well they fished on the day. They had practiced for 2 days prior to the event and knew where the fish were.
Thanks to Northumbrian Water personnel for organising the event. Especially Alastair Baker, Don Coe and Peter Pattinson and their rangers. All top blokes.

Great comp for a good cause, really enjoyed both days, the heat and final, as abacus said well done to the winners and to the organisers. Gareth and I only had 2 fish each to the boat so no prizes for us unfortunately

i wish i could have afforded the time off work to practice but it wasn't to be, will be back to try again next year.
