Charlie, I am pretty sure you can book thru the lodge, however I know G Pearson is the organiser

Yep, give the lodge at Rutland a call Charlie, they are taking details of those that want to fish the match.

Bart and I will be there, Dave. Look forward to seeing you. Hopefully, you will have done your usual week's practice and can tell us what's going on !

Excellent event - raised £12,000 for the charity. Well done to Graeme Pearson and Cliff Waters who did a lot of the organisation.

Only three pairs had double limits - the Cooper brothers won it, Rob E and Clive Morgan were second. We had fifteen fish and were 6th.

Shame about the weather..........................

I'd like to second that,

many thanks to Pat and David Quinn who started this and to the Team headed by Graeme, including Cliff, John Mees, John Marshall and all at AW. The weather was 'soft' at times and the fishing quite tough but it was a grand day out on the water.

The auction items were outstanding, Jeff Dales' banter on the mic was top form and the bidding was very healthy. The sum raised exceeded expectations; all down to the great generosity of our fly fishing community.

Outstanding angling by Richard and Tom Cooper for the win and top angling also by our RAF buddies Phil and Dave.

I don't speak on behalf of Help For Heroes but I do know that our injured guys and girls really appreciate your support.

Cheers Guys

Default Many thanks from the RAF, too

I second everything Graham and Charlie say above. Great event, great fun, and an outstanding effort from all.

Thank you all very much. It was a privilege to attend.
