Thumbs up Ulster Championships

Just want to say a big well done to my good friend and Flextec Emerald Islanders team Captain "STEVIE ELLIS" who came first in the Ulster Championships, "re run match" on Lough Melvin today . He had a great bag of 5 trout including the heaviest trout of the day.

There were the 3 remaining places up for grabs, for the 2010 Ulster team and 20 places for the 2011 Irish National Championships.

Well done to Stevie and all who qualified and great to see Melvin fishing so well again.

I will post a list of the qualifiers when I get them.

OO

Well done Stevie!!!! Great result!!!!

Well done also to Oakham Orange who caught 4 and to my mate Jason McClean who caught 4 and came 6th in his first ever Competition. I myself had a great days fishing putting fish up every drift and getting a few but they were all 1/2 inch short of the measure. I wonder if its the same 1/2 inch my wife keeps reminding me about LOL!!!!

I had to post in a similar thread last week where politics were starting to creep into the conversation about competition fishing in Northern Ireland. Smokieeee2010 - please refrain from posting similar material as it has nothing whatsoever to do with fishing. If you wish to discuss this further please send me a Private Message.

Paul.

I dont understand how the p word keeps cropping up in fishing....never noticed it before,,,but that maybe down to me not fishing comps. If people have differences in comps then they need to sort them out for the good of their sport.

Who is bring politics into to the posts it is not me. And all i am doing is standing up for the anglers in Northern Ireland that want nothing to do with the Ireland satup at all.I don't go about trying to stir up things with the Anglers that want to fish for Ireland. All i have to said to them is that up to them, and best of luck to all of them.

If you want nothing to do with it then please stop posting on a thread thats purely about the result of an ITFFA competition and simply a case of wishing well to those who did well.
