Now now Stewarty Boy & Jingler....that is not the way it was....and if it had been I guess the Scots Team would have won.
Going into the last session we were 15 place points above Scotland and 5 behind Australia so it was all to play for.
It came down to a tie in place points for Silver and we pipped Scotland by more fish points.
Now that's a good competition.... and I know I stayed awake longer than John McCallum
One last thing....winning a medal is loveley I must say however the spirit of friendship and cameraderies between all the teams was fantastic and the clear winner in my book is the friendship.....old friends re-united and new friends made. We had a few good laughs on Bus E travelling between the different competition sessions.
Congratulations to Australia on a very good win, well done Scotland for the final push and making it a nail biter to the end and especially to Michael...a new talent in the Scottish Team and Commonwealth Champion.
To WSTAA, the local clubs and controllers and especially Euros, well done for organising an excellent competition on some superb waters....definitely another visit from me on the cards.
Thanks Dave, Bernie, Phil and Simon for a great England Team effort.
I have to go now, have to return a call from Trevor Brooking ...some other Team needs a hand
