Well done to John Horsey on his third place finish...top angling once again. Well done to wee Basil on having the top Irish rod, not bad for a lad that would not be too familiar with river fishing

Very interesting in the team event with a very tight battle for Gold between Poland and France.

Des Armstong (NZL) in individual Gold medal position. Joey1 will be thriled with that.

Hey Bert, its been good to follow... I see Basil was top rod for Ireland - it'll bee interesting to get his view on the angling conditions etc.

Des Armstrong performed fantastically - shows you great river craft applies all over the world.
