Default 2010 National on Killarney

Looking forward to heading south to the Irish Nationals which are been fished in Killarney. Have been drawn to fish with Mr. Jack Spratt for the second year in a row. Top man so its going to be a good day out.

Heading down for the week with all of the clan on a family holiday so I hope to sneak out for a practice day and some light refreshments at some point.

All information on flies and location on where to fish would be greatly appreciated. Private Messages only......far too many hawks watching this forum

Yea hawks, including the lesser spotted lough Conn hawk......
Looking forward to the national, never fished Lein before so a bit of fun and new water if nothing else. Hope we meet a few more fish than we did in the connaught cup. I'm drawn with Brendan Murry and I am almost sure I fished a national with him before, must be lucky or else the same old heads are the only ones left fishing these things.Any way of to Rutland tomorrow for a week so lots of practice for those big fish in Killarney.....
Good luck and see you there.

I never get a chance to try all of these flies that Andy sends to me, such a DECENT lad......not sure if those Traws fish are as fond of the chocolate as they are on Menteith......I hope not

Working on some water proof flies after the last trip to Traws, God if there is weather like the last time we were there then I'll be spending a lot more time in the bar than on the lake.

A lot of lads trying hard to fish what should be two top Internationals next year so the rosary beads will be out.......and The Bounty

There's a bus load of Ulster guys heading down Munster way for a couple of days which should be entertaining...even if those wee brownies aren't biting

Looking forward to it...see you all soon!
