Just heard that only one of the NIFFA members fished the final.The other could'nt because of personal stuff.Anyone know how the final went?

Just got told that the NIFFA member David Maguinness was 9th out of 39 anglers in the SANA Stillwater Bank Competition Final.Well done to him.

7 fish did win it.And it was very hard fishing going by what i have been told.

The top 6 in the sana stillwater comp 1.Joe Morrison 2.Stewart McCormick 3.John Morton 4.Jim Adie 5.Mike Cordiner 6.Tommy Graham. That's the new Scottish bank Team.Good luck to them all in the International.

I fished the final yesterday and firstly congrats to JOE for his first place with a cracking 7 fish total. Great credit must go also to HOWOOD FISHERY for the food and quality of fish were outstanding. Although it was hard it was the same for everyone and i think the practice days took its toll on the fishery on the day. I finished with 2 for 7lbs 4 ozs and dropped 3 but im sure everyone has a hard luck story to tell No one has this story though After a thunderous downpour i was fishing at the dam wall and cast out my buzzers when WHAM the rod got pulled straight out my hands,by the time i got my other rod unhinged i could only see the BUTT end of my rod poking out of the water? With one chance only i cast my CATS WHISKER over it and lasooed the reel. Unbelievably when i got sorted out the fish of around 4 lbs was still on A great day and a wonderful occasion,full praise for JIM KYLE and FRASER RENWICK for the organisation and ofcourse to the other anglers for such a sporting comp. I omit the guy next to me from EBERDEEN in that who said i didnt deserve the fish off the dam wallwot you talkin about m8 that was the best piece of angling all dayBEST WISHES TO THE SCOTLAND TEAM DOWN SOUTH ,roll on next year

I knew youd laugh at that HOTSHOT ive got to admit it was some cast Im even more gutted now ive seen the pics on the FORUM and EBERDEENS in it, he only had 2 the same as me. Dont worry m8 you deserve it and as i said earlier ,stick it to em lads.GREAT COMP,and for all the negatives its had on here i feel its totally unfair. If you dont enter it its your loss and all the more for the rest to enjoy.tightlines. Oh STUGGIE did i tell you i stretched my NON STRETCH in the kitchen on FRIDAY NIGHT and it snapped aswell. There really wasnt any point in me goin was there
