Default Troutmasters Final at Grafham 2010

Hi everyone, I fished at Grafham in the Troutmasters Final. Does anybody agree that the bank fishing could of been better? dont get me wrong the place is amazing but I fished it the day before and i spoke to about 20 bank anglers and they were all saying it was dead. Does anyone think it should be held at grafham next year as this is the second year in a row that the bank fishing has been extremley difficult! Please dont take ofence at my comments im not trying to slate Grafham fishery but im just interested in peoples views.
Thanks

isnt it about time it was fished in scotland if everyone in scotland refused to buy the trout fisherman they would rethink (fishing polotics)

Although wonderful from the boat, I think that Grafham can be a bit limiting from the bank, as large portions of it are virtually unfishable due to high banks and vegetation.

Rutland or Pitsford (not sure whether Pitsford has enough boats) would seem the obvious choices to me as they both have excellent bank access.

I do think that due to the overstocking levels of just about all of the stillwaters in this country that our expectations are usually over the top.

We should be happy with a couple of fish during a day's bank fishing.

Graham

You are welcome to it mate!!

Although I doubt the anglers north of the boarder will be any happier than the locals to Grafham when they fish the match to kill only and some anglers were taking 20+ fish

THEY HAVE TO COME UP WITH OF COMING UP WITH THE WINNER,WITH OUT KILLING ALL THE FISH,BECAUSE THAT IS ONLY MAD.ONE WAY THEY COULD DO IT KILL 2 FISH IN THE BOAT AND BANK AND C/R UP TO ANOTHER 8 FISH BOTH IN BOAT AND ON BANK.But that might be to must work for troutfisherman to work out.

What i ment by my post,is C/R 10 fish in boat section and only killing the heaviest fish. and the same on the bank section of competition. That means that the most fish killed by any angler is 2 only
