Default Flies For The Nationals

Got through the first round at the lake, so as promised heres the patterns that got me through. Black J.C Diawl Bach, Black And Red Comorant, Red Tailed Pearly Hares Ear, Olive Frazer Nymph. All flees were fished on a slow glass and were #12's and #14's except the cormy which was a #10 and twitched back slow as you like or swung round with the wind. Also hooked a few that were seen rising and landed the flees right on their heads. Fish wouldnt look at the usual pulling flees. Come on the Carron!
If anyone fancies parting with some good info on the carron for the next round it would be appreciated, fished it a few times and did ok, but never exactly set the heather on fire. Going to go up once a week till I get date for comp. to try and get it sussed.
