Final report for 2010, looking forward to 2011 already.

Tuesday Evening Boat League
Phil finishes with a flourish.
The 2010 boat league was won by Phil Longstaff in fine style as he won the final night with an 8 fish limit. Phil won £50 in tackle vouchers presented to him by warden Nigel Savage. The best fish taken during the league was Hilary Tomlinson’s 4lb 14½oz Rainbow taken on week 8. Hilary won a £10 tackle voucher.
Week 15 1st Phil Longstaff 8 fish for 15lb 4½oz.
2nd Richard Cooper 5 fish for 9lb 6¾oz
3rd Bob Norman 3 fish for 4lb 11oz.
Best fish Paul Wild 2lb 15½oz Brown.
2010 Tuesday Night Boat League final placing
1st Phil Longstaff 83 points
2nd Richard Cooper 63 points
3rd Keith Jones 47 points
4th Paul Wild 42 points
5th Bob Norman 32 points
6th Hilary Tomlinson 29 points
A total of 224 rods fished this 15 week series, catching 510 fish. Anglian Water would like to thank everyone who fished this year and we look forward to the 2011 boat league. A welcome highlight for anglers returning to the pontoon on Tuesday evenings was the delicious fish and chips delivered to the lodge by Sid’s Fish and Chips of Stamford.

It worth noting that Phil also, technically, won best fish, but boat league or fishery rules (not sure which), meant he couldnt take both awards.
