Does anyone know if the Lexus individuals took place at Carron today ? , its been strangely quiet regarding this , might be cause the Team event is on Tommorow , or is it??

Anyone shed any light?

i was on the carron page today and it said on the event list that it was on today and that the pairs/teams is tomorow

Hi Robster, yes it was the Lexus Individual today but i`ve no idea how it went

Team event is tomorrow only 4 teams, Saltire FF, Alba, Menteith Ospreysand I think Newton Stewart

yes i fished the individual today, coming last couldnt hold on to anything

first place was sam montgomery and second was peter edge

not sure the rest of the placings but only 7 folk fished it

Seriously though, thats not a big turnout for a nationwide comp like the Lexus, and four teams out today is pretty poor aswell, does anyone know how many are involved in the heat (s) at the lake , individuals and team ? We have a team entered on the Lake, but as yet have not heard a peep from Mr Horsey as regards any written confirmations etc.

Has anyone had any confirmation ? I believe that the closing date for entries was the 22nd March.

What a poor turn out for such a big comp. Shame as the guys at carron are trying very hard. A potentially superb venue for big comps if the Masters was anything to go by. If i get one day to fish this year im going to Carron.

haha good point robbie yes i know very poor attended for such a big competition! but today was worse with only 4 teams, ive entered the individual on the lake also but not heard of any teams for it.

i got my written confirmation a few weeks ago mate, id try giving him a fone.

I emailed JH last week and he said letters for Lexus at Lake would be coming out soon. We had put down for the Thursday for the team day and he did confirm that we had this day but last year I do not think that there was a second day for the team event in the end.

yes i think its 40 percent from what i was told.

Interesting, we have put in for the Friday, our cheque has been cashed and we are just awaiting confirmation - you are correct by the way Abigail, there was only the one team heat last year at the Lake.
