Voting with their feet?

Why? For what reasons?

There is no English final this year, it's straight through to the final.

The comp calendar is choked all over the country, they have to be slotted in somewhere.

Sad that Bewl heat has folded but it's no easy task for organisers.

Hope we'll see some of the southern teams on the Midlands then.

The Pirate.

Default Lexus Team Comp

As the pirate says 'the calender is full'
I take my hat off to Mr John Horsey it is no easy task organizing a prestigious event like the Lexus European Open Team/Individual throughout the country.
To have the English Team finals near to his home I don't blame him it is his choice - after traveling the breadth of the country living in hotels - I would do the same!
In life you have a choice! If you are a true competitor you accept the challenge on where ever/whatever the venue is.
We appear to live in a world of complainers who appear to have hidden agendas who have no idea what it takes to organize such an event year after year.
A BIG THANK YOU to Mr John HORSEY ,LEXUS and Partners - long may The Competition continue

There is an English Final this year. It is 7-11 August at Chew, with the International Final 3-4 September at Rutland.
That's what it says on the entry forms.
And I echo the comments about the hard work that goes in to organising something like this. Please don't knock those that do unless you are prepared to put in a shift yourself - at national or club level.

The first round of the Lexus at Rutland on 17th Apr will see the top teams (how many I do not know) qualify straight through to the International final, there are to be no English Final's at Chew. I have been told this by John H in recent days. Why, I do again not know. Perhaps someone out there knows?
