I received this notice via email today and I thought that there may be some on here interested in attending:

My name is dave oates , i am organising a memorial match for the late Arthur Cove.
I thought i would let your association know at this early stage. the date is going to be saturday may 15th at Eyebrook.
I have started to get a good prize list going to encourage people to attend. the angling magazines are being very supportive as is Andy Miller at Eyebrook.
I have got Charles Jardine saying he will attend ( not sure whether he will fish) however I know Arthur thought a lot of the Leicester fly fishers which is why i wanted to let you know early. hope some of you can attend.

ps. the whole point is we would like to get a memorial bench put up at eyebrook, with any excess money going to england youth fishing aasoc. and rainbow childrens hospice.
tickets will be £30 adult, £26 oap, £21 junior, that is putting £11 on top of Eyebrook ticket prices.
first prize is a box of Arthurs own flies and a rod. i have about 12 prizes at moment. just been given a £85 Flylogic reel!
sportfish £50 voucher, a boat and two rods on eyebrook. etc
