Cheers Stevie,
My Belhaven Best head has cleared now so i'm going down in the next hour to have a look. Hopefully it will be ok, they can get out and break up any thin ice with the boats.
Its bright and sunny here although cold.
We have gained Ridgeback and a couple of his mates from the cancelled Howood event.
When you rearrange the Howood one I should be able to get along.
Cheers
Neil

Raith Lake 80% clear of ice and stocked this morning.
Fish being caught around lunchtime when I was down at the lodge.
Hopefully it isn't too cold overnight.

Famous last words! Minus 8 when I went out.
Despite trying to break up the ice a couple of times we couldn't go out and the rearranged date is Saturday 27th February.
There are some more places available for anybody that is keen, phone 07971 175809.
Thanks to the two Davy's and Gus for coming along, hope you managed some fishing today and hopefully you can come along on Saturday.
Cheers
Neil

So far so good as far as ice goes. I will check on Friday.
Anybody else want to come along?
£25 will get you a days fishing c&r, bacon rolls in the morning, soup and sandwich at lunch time, a dram of Black Label, some beers and a raffle for a couple of lifesavers, box of flies and various bottles of alcohol thanks to some generous benefactors.
If you have never visited Raith Lake then you will also be welcomed by 3 genuine fishery owners who are trying to give you the best fishing that they can achieve.
Neil

Raith Lake ice free and full of fish waiting to be caught. They have been well rested under the ice.
Still some places left for anybody wanting to avoid the shops on Saturday.
