Irish Ladies Flyfishing Association
Each year the Association helps to fund a team to compete in the Ladies International Championships, against teams from England, Scotland and Wales. A series of four trials are used to select the team to represent Ireland at the Ladies International Flyfishing Championship. This year the International is being held in Wales and the Irish Ladies team will be there to retain the Gold medal they won in last years International in Killarney.
The first trial in 2010 for the Irish Ladies Flyfishing Team is to take place on Lough Lene, Collinstown, Co Westmeath on Saturday 27th March 2010. Registration will take place at Fagan’s Shore and all entrants must have registered by 10.15am. Fishing starts 11.00am. Boats to be on shore by 5.00pm. This trial will complete team for 2010 - Women with the heaviest bags (and not already on the 2010 team) will be offered a place. You must be a member in order to take part and all new and past members are welcome. For an membership application, trial form or any further information visit our new website
