Default Seighford Lakes Boxing Day

We will be opening up for Boxing Day and we have a few things for you to have a go at...

The angler who has the biggest fish of the day that is killed and weighed in at the lodge will receive a bottle of Whiskey.

The first angler to return to the lodge with a killed fish will receive a free days fishing (Including 2 fish) in 2010.

The angler who has the best brace of fish on the day will also receive a free days fishing (Including 2 fish) in 2010.

A few more tackle prizes will also be given out on the day.

For all of the above prizes you must purchase a ticket for a minimum of 2 fish. If you are going for just the best fish or 1st fish caught on the day, a 1 fish ticket is also available.

It is ONE prize per angler.

There will be FREE tea and coffee served all day ... and please help yourselves to mince pies.

If you would like any more information don't hesitate to call James on 07933512401 or Phil on 07921713716. Also you can look at the website Seighford Lakes

Right what will happen is,

The open match will run from 9 till 2.

When u pay for your day ticket there will be a pot on the counter, help your self to a ticket. At 8.30 Phil will shout out numbers starting from 1..when your number is called you walk off and and chose a peg. YOU CAN'T START FISHING TILL 9 O'CLOCK. It will be the fairest way on the day, there won't be a great deal of time inbetween the numbers, so don't think if you've got number 30 for example you will be waiting around for ever.

If you get a fish in your first few casts, kill it and bring it back to the lodge for the chance to have first fish of the day...

Obviously if you do have a 4 fish ticket you will have more of a chance of winning something as you can chose your best fish( biggest brace and best fish).

There will also be a prize for smallest fish.

You must stop fishing at 2 o'clock, and come and weigh your fish.. After the weigh in and a few brews or beers . You are then welcome to go back out and continue fishing for the remainder of the day.

For any more info, feel free to call the lodge on 01785 282967

Check out the website Seighford Lakes

Tight lines.

Unfortunately due to the bad weather the Boxing Day match has been postponed until the New Year.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from all of us at Seighford Lakes.
