Would you chin someone that was cheating in a competition against you ?,an angler here in Northern Ireland took the law into his own hands at a recent competition ,an angler was warned that wading wasn't allowed at the fishery and was told so by the fishery staff,he waded out to the top of his waders and was allowed to weigh in his fish ,an angler protested about it ,but nothing was done possibly because the guy is a regular at the fishery,so the guy took the law into his own hands when changing pegs ,he headlocked the guy and hit him a few times ,and was subsequently banned from the fishery and rightly so for unacceptable behaviour ,but i think the guy blatantly flaunting the rules should also have been banned from the fishery and competition . I don't think i would actually get that annoyed i would actually hit someone because at the end of the day it's only fishing and the guy is cheating himself aswell as the rest of the competition entrants ,but some guys will go to any lengths to win ,some will say he was being thinking outside the box and being innovative i know what i call straight forward rule breaking !! I don't think the wading guy won the competition which was a good thing as even cheating sometimes doesn't guarantee results

,luckily all the competitions i fish are boat competitions where wading isn't an issue

No names were mentioned but i thought the story was amusing and would be of interest to some of you .
