There is a trout competition in the oaks fishery just outside derry every staurday morning which starts at half 9 and runs to 1 1st place gets entered into the end of year competition which has some great prizes. Entre fee is 10 pre preson and competition is baised on most caught. Fishing is from boat and bank.

I haven't been at the oaks for a long time as i usually go to Donnybrewer fishery just up the road from it. If you happen to fish from the far side of the lake were the runners run and hook a Shakespeare flyrod with reel and floating line then it's mine, i lost it a few years back when it fell of the boat i was on. will have to try and get back out for a days fishing there one day soon.

its been nearly a year since i have been out but i will give its a try on the sinking line for you.
