Each fish will score 20 points plus one point for each centimeter or part thereof. E.g. A fish of 25.4 centimeters will score 20 points plus 26cms =46points.
The score of each session will be recorded separately. At the end of each session ,both competitors and controller will initial the card.
Competitors fishing each session in pair will have their score recorded on one score card.
Each peg will have one controller who will service the two anglers.
Controllers responsible for ensuring that the competitors on his peg comply with these rules including start and close times of the sessions. Controllers not to net fish nor in any way give advantage to their anglers.
The total of the pairs placings will be summed and their totals determine their position in the match.

To be honest I didn't notice the Date.
I only caught wind of it today seems to be kept quiet???? But from a newbie point of view it may be worth visiting over the course of the competition to gain tips first hand......
I have asked for England eliminator dates on the Dee so anyone interested can get their names down early or books time off work in advance.
cant find any dates on the ceff site http://www.ceff.org.uk/
I know the Dee eliminators are usually fished early in the year.

Due to a late cancellation this competition, which raises each year a substantial amount of money for the River Dee Trust, has a vacancy for one team.

Anyone interested should contact the organiser Ken Bathers whose email address is bathers@deesalmon.fsnet.co.uk.

Hi Graylinghunter
Severn-Trent eliminator is usually held on the Dee in early January. I fished it for the first time last year and managed to winkle a few out. Cracking day with good craic! Martin Dixon organised it last year, not sure if he is doing it again this year.

Hi Guys,
Is there any way of finding out what teams are fishing this event prior to turning up at the Hand Hotel on the Saturday morning. 2 or 3 of us from the Potteries Fly Tying club are planning a visit to see how the pro's do it.

Thankyou in advance for any info.

Don't call us Pro's, we only charge for sex, not fishing.

It's more a friendly comp and social. If the river stays as high as it is, it may not happen though me thinks.
