What a joke - still only has the qualifiers listed from the National.

No sign of "Photogrphs and a full set of results" (Sic) a month after the event. Not even the basic results from the Airflo Classic Final last week.

Who is responsible for updating it ?

That would be me Charlie, but in my defence I can only update what I get sent. If people don't send pictures, reports and results it is impossible to update the site.

Your singing to the choir here, in this day and age results should be online within three days max of any match.

I have sympathy for ya mate. Im responsible for the ITFFA website www.itffa.com and I agree that its only possible to put on what people send me.

Im constantly encouraging our provincial secretaries and anglers to send me as much as they can. To be honest, so far its not too bad. But its a relatively new site.

Thanks Simmo. I wasn't at the National this year but I was at the Airflo and I got an electronic version of the results the Monday after, so I am surprised they were not sent to you

yep ive been waiting 4 a full set ov results to appear ov the national and the airflo

I hold my hands up too.

I was at the national and sent the report which is on the front page - With the link to the pictures.

Personally I will get something in print - if I was there - and photos.

Howwever if nothing is sent then Lindsay can't put it on.

The CEFF is not good at doing this sort of thing and we are working with Lindsay to get the site functioning as it should. Lindsay is doing this for a pittance as we are not in a strong financial position. We cannot afford the price of a professional web as we had in the past.

As much as I can I try to get the officials to get a report and results together
Federations to get information on qualifiers but ........................................!

I know the importance of a website that is fully functioning and updated.

This is being rectified due to the work of Lindsay and also the organisation has to wake up to their responsibilities too.

I'm sure the 'old' CEFF web site had lots of archive info on past internationals plus world results and loch style national final placings etc. Is there any chance the 'new' site could also incorporate this or is it all copyrighted?

Yes but it will take time as all is being updated

The former website was great with all of the old archive reports etc.
The present website has next to nothing on it.
How long will it take to be fully updated?
