In the Airflo Final today, his son Glenn won it with 11, he was 4th with 9 and his other son Dean was in the top ten with 7.

Freddie, FFUK and I all had six and were just out of the top ten. Hard day but I enjoyed meeting Mike (Marazion Midge) and Kevin (Morayflyfisher) who helped me through a completely blank afternoon for all of us. Hope it fishes better tomorrow, lads.

Yes well done to Glen on a great result. Thoroughly deserved the win as he caught in both sessions on top of having the most fish.

My first time at Elinor and I quite enjoyed the layout of the water and the challenge from the fish, next year I won't be using 3lb FM and getting snapped off though

He actually did better than that - he caught on every peg in the afternoon.

Malc Randle caught in two of them and Ray Cramp had one but no-one else in our 8 pegs had a fish after lunch, so it was terrific angling on his part.
