Just learned early this evening that one of our team for the Anglian Water Airflo International Match being held Tues/Wed has had to withdraw due to a severe back injury. I have exahausted all avenues trying to find a replacement at short notice and have had no success.

If anyone out there is interested please PM me as soon as possible.

We are leaving for Rutland tomorrow lunch time however plans can be changed if required. We will be fishing Sat-Mon practice and the match on Tues/Wed.

Basically if you can make it for the match it would be great although it is a requirement that you have not already competed in this years qualifiers.

Team may only enter once and individuals may only fish for one team. (However, in exceptional circumstances, and with prior permission of the organisers, a team member can have fished for another team. In this instance his total weight of catch will count as no more than that of the team 5th weight on the day).

I was aware of the rule and think if it came down to it we could find someone local to fill the place under this rule.
However I think it looks as if we may have found someone who can fish that has not already competed this year. So fingers crossed we will get to the starting line with six rods.
