I was there too, had a doughnut off the bank am, and 2 in the boat pm. Nick Halstead had 1 bank am and 7 boat pm so he should have made the top 10.
He fished like a demon in the afternoon, we found a pod of fish right off the dam by the aerator and had some phenomenal chases, fair few fish there.
The fishing was definitely very patchy, odd pods of stockies and not much more. But a great day and the buffet was tremendous.

catch one of the biggest 3 fish in a month from a fishery then the following year win the fish off at that fishery then you will get an invite to the final, its a decent comp and the practice can be on the weekend before which is always a help but the final is always on a monday about the middle of may.
