Post 2009 Interpro Lough Arrow

The last ITFFA comp of the year will be the Interprovincial Angling Championship at Lough Arrow on Sat 19 September 2009, which will decide the final International Team qualifiers for 2010.

I've just received the match booklet and some people have started to warn me about my pairing...some guy known as Trout Hunter OO has already had the experience on Lene

Like to wish all tight lines and hope Ulster will be lifting the winners badges...we must be due it

See you in a couple of weeks TH

Hey Chunky I wouldn't be to worried about the draw, not on my present form.
Dont think we will be fighting over which fish to cover. One good one each might do.
Oh grasshopper what you mean unlucky about the draw, you cheeky sod. Will have to share a boat with you one of these days and change that cheeky attitude of yours
Good luck to all the teams especially Connaught, time to make it two in a row.

My five hundreth post to Trouthunter,i take great offence to be called cheeky,i hope chunky kicks yer behind now, only kidding Andy,Arrow will be tough id say although i believe it has its moments, but the choice of venue is mad considering that Mask,Conn, and Corrrib would all fish better in September than Arrow, was chatting a boy yesterday who is on the Leinster who reckons he could make the Irish without having caught a fish,he was drawn out of the hat for the leinster team and reckons it could be an outta the hat job on Arrow, some craic if that happenedWasting our time competing in international competitions with the current qualifying system imo.

You know I have to agree with you Colin, I wonder why they picked Arrow. Lets face it, it will most probably be a one fish job to make the Irish team
I think the current qualifying system is a bit wide of the mark to say the least and we are always going to struggle in matches across the water until there is a change but I would guess it will be a few years before that change comes.
Anyway last I heard Arrow was suffering a algae bloom and was like pea soup. That should make a already tough job great craic altogether.Guess we will have to lash away at it anyway.

Awe, I reckon TH is due a big one on Arrow after he lost the big whopper on Lene.

My mates were on Arrow last Saturday after failing to qualify for the Melvin Open final. They had 7 between 2 boats best fish over 2 pounds,(all on sex pink bobbies ) so I reckon you will get a result. Anyway GH, they wont be pulling names outta the hat for Ireland places even if everyone blanks, they will go to those who are next on the list from the National on Lough Owel..

Chunky, after I came in of the resevoir today with "The quiet man" he got a phone call from Albert to say he has been called up to the Ulster Team for Arrow. So ya better bring your ear muffs for the team meetings He had better up his game after today. His **** is a wee bit sore

Aye mate "Pheckin Deadly". You should know what the exact shade of "Sex Pink" is after all the rumpy pumpy you get after nights out in the greville arms... The Booby changes colour after a few minutes of being pulled hard.

Starts of pink, then turns a purply shade then ends up sort of a raw red colour

Trouthunter is married so he wont have a clue of the shade

And Chunky will soon forget it after next year.

I ve just pmsl OO,seriously mate you are too innovative for your own good,as long as it goes back to its original colour after a use it should be ok ,if it stay red you could be in trouble if the water is like pea soup might be the only thing s the trout can see in the water.

No worries mate It will return to its original shade of pink after ya take it off. But when ya put in back in the box it might start changing colour again.

If it stays red ya better take it to the Trout Doctor

What was this thread about again. Oh aye. Good luck to all those taking part on Lough Arrow.
