Very short notice...????? With many of the anglers who would like to fish in World teams fishing the next day in the National Final.......let me guess SANA to do away with qualification for World Teams and hand pick them in future?

You're a SANA committee member 3lb. What's the inside track? Or are you a SANA plant gathering opinion from the forum members and sworn to secrecy?

Having noticed this thread and then looked at SANA website, there appears to be little info about this. Then phoned SANA office and was directed to Jim Kyle who is running the meeting on Friday.

Turns out the meeting is to seek constructive feedback and involvement from anglers about the proposed new framework for the World, European and possibly other international competitions that SANA enters or may enter teams for. It seems that the structure of the system is being revamped with coaching involvements to support the process.

I cannot give more detail as I don't have it, but it looks like the meeting on Friday will be worth attending.

I have heard rumours that the worlds team are to be hand selected with certain criteria such as amount of caps, previous national champion etc etc.

This came from a SANA committee member.

It's to do with the financial survival of SANA as the governing body of game angling in Scotland.

HaHa. A SANA plant. what a joke.I hope that this can be sorted out,It's my wish that when folks hear the full story they will understand that it's not old gripes being re-opened.but a serious look at the hoops we are being asked to jump through to get funding.
The reality seems to be that Scottish anglers do not think they need SANA to protect them from attacking forces. when IMHO the have never needed it more. We will be very vulerable as anglers to forces that wish us harm ,Without a voice.Is this worth a couple of pounds of your money???. Now is the Time To find out.

This is not what the meeting is about.It Is about the survival of SANA.I just hope that those that attend realise that this is what it is about,and not in reality about comps.
