Russ,

Just back from a tough weekend at Melvin. No comps now until the Airflo Anglian Water Final. Cant wait. But its gonna give me an opportunity to do a bit of pleasure fishing for Dollaghan Trout and maybe a bit of salt water flyfishing.

Sure there is no need for any practise at Rutland mate. Im sure it will just be roly polying blobs for 8 hours

Where are you boys staying by the way. Just in case you are brave enough to go out for a drink with us

It'll get very messy any way as our team (Kent & Sussex FF) are staying in Oakham and a ruby on the Saturday is well on the cards.

Russ, better book a table for 18 for your lot, OO's mob and us Gentlemen from the affluent South East!

Looking forward to it.

GH.

Right thats it settled. Kent & Sussex, Welsh Hawks and Emerald Islanders meeting up for a session We normally do our sessions the night before a match as it's tradition, but if you wooftas are not brave enough for that we will just have to have 2 sessions

We might end up on the vodkeeeees and red bull on the saturday night cause we have a 6 hours drive down from bonnie scotland after a 3hr ferry ride.

And im going to spike Bewl Geordies Korma with my vindaloo when he goes to the bog. Then hope he wears his mankini out fishing the next day

We are staying in Manton mate just 2 minutes from the lodge and 30 seconds from a pub.

Greg,

Us woofters wouldn't make the mistake of going from NI to Rutland via Scotland. We'd take a 1.5hr ferry to Holyhead and then drive the 2.5 hr journey to Rutland.

You'd be better off spiking BG's vindaloo with a korma as he likes it hot

We're staying in a pub and 2 minutes from the Indian in Oakham

Happy days

Keith,

Worked it out. Its better doing the Scotland route. Firstly, going thru Wales is longer than it seems. We did it 2 years ago when we went to the final. At least a 2 hour drive from Belfast to Dublin (3 if ya hit traffic ) then its 4 hours plus from Holyhead to Rutland. (You must go in your Ferrari)

Second thing that put us off was, getting up at 6am to catch the ferry back from Holyhead. No way mate. We would just be going to bed. The Scotland route gives us a lie in and then we are in no rush to get up the road to scotland to catch the ferry. Once off the Ferry we are home in Belfast and dont have another long drive. And forgot Ferry to Scotland is only 1.5hrs

Finally, It's cheaper. Which leaves us more money to spend entertaining Gentlemen from the affluent South East, like you boys

Looking forward to it. Ive met one half of Kent & Sussex, I just hope the other half is a bit more lively

Im not one for hot food, so ill be on the watch out for BG slipping me some vindaloo in Oakham. Jessus, can you imagine if he did and me face turned the colour of your fav blob. You could get a picture of a real Oakham Orange.
