Sad news. I met Trevor this year at Chew at the Spring International. Lovely gentleman and a great performance by him on the day.

On behalf on the ITFFA condolances to his family

Very, very sad news and a great loss to English fly fishing.
One of the old school and a real gent who will be sadly missed around the International Arena. We both captained our respective countries at the last international to be fished on Loch Leven in 2003 and were looking forward to meeting up again at Menteith this September.
Sincere condolences to his family.

I am proud to say that Trevor was my angling pal. I will miss him greatly.

As a comp. angler Trevor was a genuine all-rounder, representing England at World, Rivers and Loch Style disciplines. A real competitor, but as George has said a gentleman first and foremost.

The best wishes of fly anglers go to Trevor's wife Irene, and to his daughter Julia. The only tiny consolation in his untimely passing is that Trevor left us suddenly and without suffering whilst enjoying the company of friends.

God bless you Trevor,

Martin Dixon Mike and Phil
