Default Scottish club championship

Hi, i am tying flies for a team in the above comp and i can't remember the fly size limits, i think they are 5/8 hook and 1" 1/4 over all, can any of you stillwater guys let me know.

overall dressing must not exceed 15/16s of an inch.

if it's the same as international rules it's 5/8th's for the hook and 15/16th overall length. Good diagram half way down this page:

Sorry guy's, but the correct size for the Scottish Clubs is 3/4'' hook and 1,1/8''th for overall dressing.

Last time i fished this comp i was sure the overall length was over an inch, i take it it has now come in line with international fly rules. i am not fishing myself and would hate to tie flies oversize for the team.

Dave i have a measure for flies (international) but thanks for the kind offer.

Cheers Jim, i did think it was a bigger size for the scottish clubs, i'll tie them small any way

smallest fly is the size of a single malt whisky biggest fly is the size of a bottle of bud
