Fished hard all day on Sat.

Caught fish in thre morning by covering moving fish. they were suckers for a cormorant pulled accross them. Out in open water infront of the lodge.

Wind then got up.

Moved to G and had fish there. Again, fish were moving up the windlanes and would chase if you got a fly infront of them. There were fish downwind of the boils right accross to G. Fished the dam, gaynes, deep water point......nowt.

Moved to the seat and drifted out to E bouy late on and found loads of fish right out beyond E. Not deep but the conditions were perfect. They would chase a Blob but wouldn't take them. Loved the cormorants though.

This all worked for me but i heard that the youth lads were catching on blobs deep. the conditions had changed for the sunday though.

Good luck!!

Hello Mr G,

I've told BG about asking for info on a public forum but will he listen?

We're staying up on Saturday and Sunday in our usual haunt. Where's the Racehorse?

GH

Had a look on Google Maps and you're only 8 fields away. Maybe I'll pay you a visit one evening but I may need help going home - those fields look pretty big and there's the minor obstacle of the A14! Got any good suggestions for meat pies in the morning - think there's a place in Catworth if I remember correctly?
See you Saturday.
Mike

Posh pie and coffee shop in Kimbolton, about half way along on the right hand side. The mums gather there after the school run so you get to look at some posh tottie while you're waiting for them to fill you're roll.

I've another £45 for the pot.

Must admit I enjoyed the sight of the young mums partaking in a wet t-shirt competition as I dropped the kids at school last week. That thunderstorm really took them by surprise!

Will make sure I get to the pie shop before your lot clean them out!
