Default Mankini Update

Right lads and lasses,

We are now only a few weeks away from the highlight (or should that be lowlight) of the comp calendar for 2009. Many of you have been EXTREMELY generous with your donations and well wishes, however, several people that pledged money seem to have forgotten to send the cheque. Ooops!

AS I TYPE, WE ARE ONLY £10 SHORT OF THE £500 WE NEED SO PLEASE GET YOUR CHEQUES IN THE POST.

It's such a worthy cause with the added incentive of doing it in Dave Hodgson's memory, for a charity that is run purely on donations and that any one of us, our families or our friends may one day need - hopefully not though.

Also, any media types, please come and see, film, photograph and interview Simon on the day or request some pics - I will also get a press release done if anyone needs one. Let me know?

Many, many thanks again to all who have sent their donations and also those who are about to. A quid will help!

All the best

Mike.

this will definatley be a sight to see, wish i could be there but im sure there will be many pics floating around. . .

i believe we have already raised roughly £2000 for the RNLI from the funeral and such, for which i would like to thank everyone who was involved, it was a lovely event and the money is going to suchh a worthy cause, which my dad would have LOVED.

Thanks again

much love
Scarlett & Sheila Hodgson x

Talking of photos, can anyone get in touch with the fishing mags? There must be someone with all the right contacts in their little black book on the forum? I'm emailing details to Sky Sports later but any coverage people are able to sort out would be great - mags, local papers, etc etc.
Cheers all and a great effort getting £2,000 Scarlett!

Anyone gets in touch with any press type people, I promise, I will find you and kill you. Gillaroo, I suggest you wear a hard hat and knife proof vest at Grafham tomorrow.

Don't listen to him everyone.

What BG actually meant to say is "I can't wait to show all my family, friends and colleagues my silth-like figure in a mankini - I could even have them as my own personal christmas cards this year!! Wonder if Playgirl mag will be at Chew?"
