Default Congratulations ladies

Only just discovered the results of the recent ladies international in Ireland.

looking at the results there were some excellent bags....

So congratulations to all who participated, but especially :-

Ireland on winning

Mrs Morgan on the Brown bowl (19 fish !)

Joan Russell on being top english rod (13 fish)

Some excellent angling their girls..and I would have pasted the full results (but it won't accept the spreadsheet on the forum)

(nice to see both my boat partners doing well..Joan and Martha)

Hi Rob.

I was there in Ireland during the International - don't know if you've been to the Ladies Int. but trust me, I think there's more fun there than in the mens

They all fished extremely well from all teams i.m.o and as you said some very impressive bags. Try and get yourself involved with the England team for Wales next year bud... and I don't mean doing the heat in a miniskirt and heels

I might well see you on the water one of these days...

Regards.

Shane

Default some chance

You really think that the better half would let me go away with the ladies team........??

Put it this way...if she wanted to go away with a men's team.....no matter what sport, i wouldn't be best pleased.....besides i try not to be hypercritical these days - So i doubt it very much....still we can all hope....

Still it's all about having a laugh...and as i remember Shane your good lady is a character...from what i remember at Brenig...and enough of the mini skirts and stilletto's....i'm into latex now(waggie tails )

Back to the fishing....I was genuinly impressed at the bags caught...and also at the practice and commitment shown from the girls...I know that Joan, & Kate visited the loch for some earlier practice...even before the international !

Cracking bags caught by a lot of anglers..nice to see all the girls really enjoying themselves..

Hi Rob,

Yes I had a practise weekend a month before the International but it was with Sue Hunter not Kate. Talking of commitment, I even cut my nails very short for the International!!!!

Hi Ben,

Great to hear from you. What a fantastic first International. When I came off the water I had no idea how I'd done and gradually found out 13 fish was a good bag and I ended up 7th overall. It was a shame England didn't win but we were all very pleased for Ireland.

We loved Ireland and at the dinner in the evening I won a boat and engine on Loch Conn. It doesn't mention a boatman though..................
