Default Commonwealths 2010

I am really looking forward to the Commonwealths to be held in Wales.

Anyone have an idea about dates and water to be made available for this awesome event?

Can barely wait to see all again.

I think it's mid Oct 2010 following Poland.

I've seen nothing confirmed in writing: neither dates or the likely venues on the upper Dee @ Llandderfel and Llyn Brenig reservoir.

The WSTA website is in dire need of an update.

Thought I would reawaken this thread to see if anyone has any further info. The site from this years Commonwealth does have the venues but not the dates.

On the entry form i filled in it said nothing had been set in stone but the Wye at Builth was a possibility for the river fishing. The Elan Valley for the bank fishing and Clywedog for the boat fishing. Just got to try and qualify now

Unhappy Commonwealth 2010

The BIG PROBLEM here is that the WORLD POLAND 2010 dates have not been finalized and therefore can't be ratified by FIPS-Mouche until the official date release at the end of October!
This leaves W.S.T.A.A. in limbo as 2 days are allowed for to travel from the WORLD to the COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP host country and without the WORLD dates W.S.T.A.A. cannot announce the COMMONWEALTH 2010 dates !!!

Qualify for the Commonwealth. I thought it was invitation only.

Default Commonwealth

Maybe just invitation only in Scotland's case. Perhaps other countries do it by open eliminators.

Anybody know for sure?
