How did the competition on Melvin go at the weekend? Any updates?

Well Gp,the connaught cup was on it saturday and fellow team grasshopper member and good friend Stephen Browne won it with six fish,John Walsh was 2nd,the Conn/Cullin boys are cleaning up lately.Fair play and good fishing boys.

Lough Arrow-not something to look forward to!

I was on the same line of thinking. Cant say I have heard many good reports coming from Arrow for a long time. Have you fished it John or do you know much about it.

Welcome to the forum dooras. Would you be fishing Arrow in September as well by any chance. We'll have to meet up some time my good friend Grasshopper speaks very highly of you, if your who I think you are.
Any way god help us on Arrow, we'll need all the help we can get.

Yes fishing Arrow.came 7th but stopped fishing at 3 or half 3 in melvin because of lightening.It was terrible.I came off at 5.I was not happy
out in that weather.
Are you on the team trout??must get up to Arrow for a day to see whats
happening!!
