Default "Goody bags" ???

I continue to be slightly perplexed by this concept. Coming from 30 years of coarse match fishing I cannot remember anything similar.

Maybe it is meant to ease the pain of paying £20-30 in entry fees when there is no cash payout but, frankly, a 30 yard spool of line I will never use and some odd sized hooks or a no longer current model fly line (if I get one more Shakespeare TPD, I'll scream) don't really make up for that

And then there is the 2kg of catalogues..............................

Has this always been the case ?

Charlie

Hi Charlie,
It's a money making scheme - nothing more and nothing less.

It's one of the reasons I gave up fishing competitions two years ago

Default TPD's

They are OK, but I don't need one (I have a full set of sinkers)and they are not a "hot" item on eBay.

If anyone wants a 7 weight HiD, it is theirs for £12 posted

I already the lucky recipient of one of Charlie's TDP's.............now, if he'll just partner me on a boat and part with a few hints and tips on how to use the sinker...........

Ben, i promise we'll do it over the summer.

Sitting on that bubble line, snagging lumps on the HiD - that's what it will be

Default Goody Bag

Well at least I managed to avoid giving you an Airflo Catelogue this year! What did you get for the 6th Sense Fast Intermediate on Ebay?

Alan.
