Should Trout Fisherman name and shame the person accused in another thread

I believe Trout Fisherman should name this person, or any other person, caught cheating in there comp
I don't believe they will.

It would be nice ,but due to the professional side of the magazine I dont think it would be right to do it in the magazine it can leave itself open and I fully understand it myself.

Saying this I believe that there is enough members on this forum who enter into the competitons throughout the country and locally and enough anglers who when the name does come out ,which in time it will, would make the cheat, who nearly robbed a true angler of his title ,had it not been for the good vigilance of the officials, hang his head in shame and deter any other desperate person seeking fame and glory from trying underhand tactics and for WHAT!!!

If you enter into competitions do so on the same playing fields as all others and if you want to cheat go and fish on your own where you belong.

See your name in lights soon "Billy No mates" your name will get known by all, its only a matter of time and was it really worth it???????

Again well done to Trout fisherman officials Get rid of cheats for decent comp angling.

maybe im naive but i been reading through this and i have to ask, was this guy aware he was doing anything wrong?

seems he stood on a box to gain height on his back cast, i dont compete but if this is against the rules why was he not disqualified?
