Can anyone suggest how to go about even hearing that these competitions are taking place never mind trying to enter a qualifier for one? Assuming, that is, that there are qualifiers held.

No mention by the SANA Competitions Section of this in the SANA Handbook.

It seems that it is easier to find out secrets from the CIA.

according to a member of sana competitions committee, they recieve the invite for the commonwealth. other countries hold qualifiers, as scotland used to and issued 'caps' but it now seems to be an invited 'jolly' for those and such.

I wonder if the committee also knows the where abouts of the holy grail

Just to keep the record straight, the Commonwealth was a SANA competion and we were recognised by the Commonwealth Flyfishers who oversaw the event.

I assisted in running eliminators for the team and in holding the event in Scotland at Loch Leven some 10 years ago when Richard Philp did a sterling job in organising it.

At that time eliminators were held and the team selected through merit.

Who the hell gave it away?

I had David Chalmers on my section on Friday's last session, I had to run to keep up with him. Good job he'd put his waders on looking at those legs.

Also had Royce on Saturday, he had me in stitches.
