Chew Valley

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Has anyone got any reports or info about whats going, areas etc as im planning a day out over easter
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Red Diawl,

how did your Easter trip to Chew go! I do believe the ministery of miss information will be in full swing within the next few days.

Informal beers for all nations in the Blue Bowl on the Sunday and Monday night before hand for early arrivals and the team police stop us smiling at each other.

My first cap so I'll be early to bed of course and up at dawn tying flies, but everyone else can have a few beers.

Mr Oakham has reserved the seat at the end of the bar beside the scrumpy tap nearest the toilet.

We are back down again next weekend to dip our toes in the water and will be sampling the chew hospitality on Sat evening and spread some more miss information as BG suggests

Default Bluff and double bluff

Hows this for an idea.....

Each Team can only pick 2 patterns....and they must provide exactly the same patterns for every man in the international (so each angler gets 8 identical flies)

You then fish the match, and see who the best anglers/team is......no more secret flies, that we've all really got anyway...

Actually we could add a rule that each team member must drink 8 pints of Stella before fishing...that'd liven things up a bit..

Maybe then i'd even make a come back !

anyway good luck to you all...have plenty of beers, plenty of fun, plenty of fish and plenty of anything else that you can get your hands on

I thought you already tried the 8 pints of stella rule when you fished the international at brenig
