Default Red nylon

The best place to have a look is in a coarse/ Sea fishing shop.
There is REDI a nylon I have used but it has to be platted or furled to get a density that you can see.
There are braids that can be used in a short section as a sighter. There are also Fly lines that have a section of Hluro red on the tip.

Look out for "Greased Weasel" tapered leaders, (I think they are made by Drennen for sea fishing). They come in a range of colours and taper down to about 15lb bs. use sections from the thin end with a perfection loop or similar tied in each end. Very visible & very effective.
Cheers
Paul
