Question Scierra Pairs Alternative

All

Just a thought but how many Scierra Pairs Finalists do we have on the forum and how many more could be contacted with your help?

I would be quite happy to arrange another match but for last years finalists only and have the match on the day planned for this years final. I've heard rumours about an invitational match but not sure who/what it involves.

I'm sorry that I can only offer last years finalists but I work full time and don't have the advantage of a secretary to do all the groundwork.

Sponsorship would be a problem so we could put in £25 per pair and have cash prizes.

Thoughts please

Andy

Default Alternative event

Podgy Pearson wouldn't mind at all !

The Vision match was going to be run even before the Scierra Pairs folded....we'd even decided to enter 2 Scierra heats as usual !

Vision are putting up all the prizes etc....and it's aimed at those who prefer to fish to international rules rather than reservoir rules of the Scierra Pairs....and with only 50 pairs it's expected to fill up without much trouble.

As long as the match isn't on the same day as a "more important" event (sorry bit you know what i mean) then i'm in...and so is Graham as my partner..

Wullie,

Dougie and I will take you and Davie on - pick a day on the Lake

Prizes might be a bit limited tho - Bottle o' Irn Bru, mebbe a coupla Penny Dainties, a busted C&R tool, a box o' my buzzers (the ones that don't work) - I'm on a bit of a tight budget this year I'm afraid.

laters.....

Bill

All things being equal, I should imagine myself and the Stuggmeister will be interested.
