Default New...VISION Pairs Competition (International Rules)

A new international rules pairs match...a one off match at Rutland Water on Sunday 24th May......held when nymph fishing is at its best !

http://www.fishypics.co.uk/section197321_84206.html

I'm told that Vision will support the event for at least 3 years....

Basically:-

Its an 8 fish limit, with 2lb per hour time bonus

You do not fish with your partner

Roly-poly retrieve is allowed

International Rules size flies

Do they not check the England Eliminator dates when they book these things?

Same day as the Chew Eliminator so no good to me.

Default Eliminators

Trouble is each area differs as to when you have prelims etc...not just for the England eliminators but Anglian... Euro open etc...

The Comp scene is hectic to say the least

It was decided to be held in May - because that's when the best nymph fishing usually is....last year there were bags of 30-35lb caught for the 2 weeks around the end of May.

Again Rutland already had competitions booked, and with with us fishing other matches it left very little room for manouvre...

Sorry about that...but it was bound to clash with something...but we did try...

I think he's using it to pay for plastic surgery to remove his wallet from his back pocket !

Aparently it's still got White Fivers still in it !

Apparently the entry fee has to cover the prizes and trophy's etc..

Oh Graham Pearsons gone on holiday for 2 weeks (St Lucia)...so won't answer any phone calls or emails if you want details for the match...

Just thought I'd let you know why there'd be no responce at the moment..
