Default National at Bewl - local information - Breakfast or supper.

Hi Chaps,
There is no Breakfast facilities at Bewl on Thursday or Fridays.
The Brown Trout in Lamberhurst (01892 891066) is opening specially from 0730 to provide breakfast on Thurs/Fri/Sat. £6.50p for a full English with unlimited tea/coffee/toast. To find the Brown Trout, stay on the A21 nearly to Bewl, at the end of the Lamberhurst bypass turn right at the large roundabout then take the 1st left and its 200m on your left. From Bewl it's 2 minutes, turn left onto the A21, left at the roundabout, 1st left and 200m on your left.
The Brown Trout is where we all have a beer after fishing and does good evening meals (Jumbo Cod or Steak night Friday) so do pop in for a pint.

Did someone give you those directions Simon, because you don't spend much time in there do you?

I think he's on commission Simmo!

However, I would also recommend the Brown Trout for breakfast and after fishing beers, banter and evening meals.

Default Breakfast

Hi BG

I'm sure the Sailing Club breakfast is available on Thursday and Friday but would recommend the Brown Trout for sure. At least you'll get the full monty and not what is left over as is usually the case in the Sailing Club. Don't think I've ever seen bacon available and usually end up with the scrapes off the baked bean and tomatoes on a slice of bread crust!

Shame the Brown Trout doesn't still do breakfast on a weekend like the good ol' days.

See you Thursday.

Gillaroo

Hi There,

Can anyone reccomend somewhere for a breakfast on the Wednesday morning.

I am travelling from the north.....The very north!

I leave Berwick on Tweed this afternoon and I am staying in Northborough (Peterborough) this evening and then on to Bewl in the morning.

Also do you need to book evening meals in the Brown Trout?

I am on my own for most of the time so please say hello if you can.

Fairly tall with glasses and still 75% of my hair....Ha Ha

Best Regards

robbie

Default Little Chef

Robbie

There's a Little Chef which is ok about a mile south of Bewl entrance on the A21 or you may find the Chequers in Lamberhurst (at bottom of the hill) open for breakfast. Give them a call on 01892 890260.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Gillaroo
