Many thanks to all the fine people who gave us the odd snippett. Very much appreciated. Anyone who can tell us what to do up at Rutland at the end of September will get free beer in the Railway Tavern in Blackheath SE3 for the next 12 months.
We have a slight problem in that 4 of our team are fishing the national 3 days before the Anglian Final starts. Still, a nice problem to have and we will do our best to get some practice in. Big hand to the Grafham staff for making it a lovely day and running a superbly well organised comp with a good degree of humour and a free beer at the end. What more could you ask?
In summary, the big residents down the west (h to s buoy) end didn't feed on match day. If you're up there pleasure fishing, there are some lumps up there early and late. Specimens and grown on so have some fun.
We all bagged up between G buoy to the dam tower on floaters and nymphs. DB's, buzzers or crunchers. We all had one of each on and caught equally on each.

Tight lines all and see you on the water sometime.

They shouldn't have let those Bewl Boys fish the Midlands heat, it's unfair?
