Jim, PM the Pirate - he's fished it a few times recently and should be able to put you on the fish and methods. We were meant to be there this weekend but boats did not go out.

I'm on the Lexus there on the 15th so feel free to pm me how you get on

Charlie

Default Gratham

Hi,
D boy has been lifting with fish for a while now, all round it, massive pods !!!, i found 15 down on a 5 with quick paced draws did the trick, when boats came in i went 23 and found them again. My best pattern was cat on point, two tonned sunburst blob on dropper 11ft from point, 18ft overall leader. Try the double cat as every ones on black, that's what i did.

well jim what you got to do is fish a di7 for 55mins you wont have had a touch by now, then get it tangled so bad that you just throw it in your bag and reach for your di5 fished with a booby and a bomb you will now start catching big time.
thats the winning tactic of dave johns the troutmaster winner 2008
who said there is no luck in fishing just hard work put in

oh and just a quick mention about the hard work put in at the eliminator he sent two of his mates to siblyback to locate the fish for him the day before still he was probably working hard trying to clear his own fishery (innis) of weed and course fish.
still after all that he did win so you cant fault that can you

good luck jim with your fishing
