Folks, Largs and District AC are holding an Open Competition at Muirhead Reservoir on Sunday the 11th May 2008. Fishing is from 10am - 4pm, entry fee is £15 payable on the day and prizes are 1st £100, 2nd £75, 3rd £50....with many other prizes of fishing tackle plus and extensive raffle.

Please note that this is in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust helping to fight Leukemia...............

Hi Urban, its bank fishing it will be a six fish limit then a weigh in at 4pm.........C+R for fun if you reach your limit quickly but C+R will not count towards the weigh in. You can fish whatever flies you like, its a reasonably big water at 110acres with easy bank access usually fishes well all round the loch....

Yeah it`s up past Haylie Fishery.It`s the first loch on the right heading from Largs towards Kilbirnie.
