Having talked with John Horsey and Tom Mctaggart Regarding the Above it would appear that due to the comp calander being so congested at that time of year there is NO scope for moving either Final To alternative dates.

This really is a major boob by the orginizing committe of the Lexus. When the number of entries has been dropping over the last couple of years and the fact that this competition has been well represented by scottish teams, who make the long journey down, the accomadation, fuel and commitment every year, for this to happen is a slap in the face to all the teams from scotland who have competed in this event over the years..

Maybe we should channel our money and time elsewhere.

Apart from the very odd occasion the national is around on either the first 2 weekends in September depnding on the autum international and John Horsey will know this, that i'm sure.

Not the best of planning. Team Frozen North are discussing dropping the Lexus for the Anglian water. With three of our anglers in the 2011 final a repeat of this would see practice halved in 2012.

Personally, i just think The comp calander for september is now at its limit, at least for the Scottish comp Angler anyhow, dont know about "Down South" .

Just been looking at the Scottish National dates and the all the semi final options surround the Anglian Water Scottish heats/final. The second Carron semi is on same day as first heat of Anglian at Menteith on the 25th June! Why has the Anglian moved forward two weeks?
