This years match will be held on 6th April, Good Friday.

I have booked 40 boats and it will be first come first served.

The cost will be £40pp with all proceeds going to prizes.

hi graham, you fish with yor buddy in a boat but fish as an individual, there are no rules on flies just fishery rules and no time bonus so you can take your time and look for the good fish or go straight into the stockies and have a bag full, a great freindly comp which should be fished in the way it is intended with fun at the heart of the day cheers john

This will be the 12th year of the AWMT, Alan was a close friend and work colleague who lost his life working at the steelworks in Scunthorpe, I obtained a trophy and started the comp with 6 other colleagues. We have raised money for the England youth team and last year for Lets Tackle Cancer, this year I'm giving something back to you guys, ALL the money made will be put back into prizes along with donated prizes. I think we had prizes down to 21st place last year.

Friendly honest comp with the emphasis on everyone having a fun day on the water at the start of the new season.

Fishery rules but no rudder fishing.

It soon comes around to Arpil Andy I look forward to this at the start of the season. Can you put me and Bart Farmer down again, hopefully I can catch more than one fish on Nymphs before Bart has limit pulling this year

If you've not fished this match before its a really great day out on the water, lots of banter between the boats
