Superb! Thanks for all that. That was what I was adding next.
The rules for this years event are basically the same as last year with the exception of a revisal in regards to 'beads on flies'. Clarification on this & a few more details are below:
Indicators-this must be a dressed fly hook, not a manufactured sight indicator. The indicator counts as one of the three permitted hooks.
Netting of fish- for fish to count the fish must be netted. The fish should not be removed from the water or banked at any time. The angler must identify to their controller (the person immediatley to their right will verify the fish to count. All cards should be marked immediatley after fish are released & signed by your controller)
* Please note that the nets permitted for use in catch & release must be both knotless & micro mesh to prevent damage to the fish.
Beaded flies- The International rule will apply where only one 4mm bead can be visible in the dressing. This means the worm pattern for example can only have 1 bead showing, other beads must be hidden in the dressing.
* Entry form will be available in the next week for collection from Allandale Tarn, otherwise I can email you through a copy of the entry form in file format for you to print off right away. Entry fee for preliminary heats is £15.00, plus the addition of the cost of fishing at each individual venue. The cost of fishing on the day at Allandale Tarn will be £15.00.
An updated list of rules for the Allandale heat will be available in the next 24 hours, otherwise check out the SANA web site here:
