Sport: This morning saw warm overcast conditions, perfect for fishing and as a consequence anglers got off to a flying start with lots of trout caught in the first couple of hours, indeed Richard Morgan landed 8 fish in the first hour! Richard and his boat partner Ian Dickinson enjoyed a super mornings sport bringing a total of 21 trout to their boat with Richard finishing with 14 fish and Ian on 7 fish. They found pulling an orange blob on a DI 7 to be their best tactic and the bubbles by the dam to be the best area. Mr Latham also found the bubbles to be productive, landing a total of 7 trout including a super 4lb 2oz brownie. Also having a super day was Malcolm Hunter and Charlie Gott who each landed 14 fish, 28 trout to their boat, good angling! Mr Hunter jr, James also enjoyed some super action catching 13 fish, all 3 of them caught their fish from the bubbles on sinking lines and orange blobs and cats whiskers. The bubbles are holding loads of fish including some real monsters, I was out an the water myself today and saw some huge trout cruising about 1ft down, its only a matter of time before someone lands one of these giant trout! Lets hope these overcast conditions continue then we will see some real catches. See you on the water Paul.
