Part of the write up on Ian Greenwood

>>I Started Competition Fly Fishing 1978 and qualified for my first England International in1979, for 30 years I have won medals at every level with Team England and still plenty in the tank to win more. A good up and coming young fly Fisher one to watch for the future<<

Good luck to all the home countries competing but particularly to the Welsh boys.

Nice looking river, when do they put the fish in?

What is it that gives the water the turquoise colour? I noticed the same colouring in the lakes up in the Canadian Rockies.

WF, I can only think that it's to do with glacial melt/river bed, because many rivers in alpine countries are exactly the same colour, as are some of the waters in Iceland.
No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong.
