Default Carsington Troutmaster fish off - 10th April

Anyone fishing this? Got my invitation today courtesy of a biggun I got on my one and only visit there early last year (really must go again...), but I don't think I'm going to be able to make it In fact I've never bothered entering anything into Troutmaster before - it was just the warden who suggest I put this one in whilst he was weighing it - so its all a bit of a mystery to me anyway - how do the fish offs work?? The only other comps I've fished before are a couple of friendly Draycote Fly Fishers pairs comps.

Actually...I've just realised....guess what the fish is in my avatar! doh

go for it.best rod on the day at carsington goes forward to the final at grafham.
apart from the big fish at your original venue, which can be lucky.the run to the final and outright winner is on skill.
i don't care what anybody say's the winner in the final deserve's it.

Ah, I see what you mean about the final being more related to skill, thats good. Wasn't sure whether it was bank, boat, both or what. I don't think I can fit it in with work commitments just now anyway, but we'll see.
